Agro and Food Processing has special prominence in economy as it adds value to farm produce and increases their marketability, enhances shelf life, and adds to ease of living of consumers. To provide the right impetus to this sector in an institutional manner, Government of Gujarat has initiated the establishment of iNDEXT-a, an Agribusiness Extension Bureau. iNDEXT-a is a dedicated set up to foster investments in Agro and Food Processing sector in Gujarat.
